While there is no actual town of 'South Park,' Fairplay, a small town 85 miles southwest of Denver, is about as close as it gets.

Nearly the entire production of an episode is accomplished within one set of offices, which were originally at a complex in Westwood, Los Angeles, California and are now part of South Park Studios in Culver City, California.

South Park is set in a fictional Colorado town of the same name and focuses largely on the antics of four grade-school boys: Eric Cartman, Stanley Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, and Kenneth (Kenny) McCormick, although numerous episodes have dealt with the town's other denizens, most of whom are recurring characters.
