| Description: This is a design I
came up with back in 1986 when I first opened my
shop. I was told (and read) that tea
drinkers believe that metal should never come in
contact with tea because of the reaction between
the metal and tanic acid. So this was my
solution. Some float, some don't, most float
right at the surface and the cork doesn't impart
any flavor to the tea. Fill about half full
with your tea or herb so the leaves have room to
expand when they get wet. |

I've also decided to offer the selection of bulk teas
that I carry in my shop which include black, green,
herbal, and flavored teas to enjoy anytime or while
you're beading. Bulk teas offer much more flavor
than the teas processed into teabags and are easy
to use with any tea infuser such as the commercial
varieties, my own pottery tea ball, or even a coffee
filter twist-tied at the top, as well as by the pot
through your coffee maker. All teas are sold by the
ounce in zip lock bags. A ounce bag will
usually
make at least a dozen cups of tea or several pots
through a coffee maker. Sun tea usually requires
about twice as much tea. If you have any questions,
