Juried Competition
All bead artists are invited to enter their work in the following categories:
1. Jewelry/Wearable
2. Lamp Worked Bead/ hot glass
Entry Fees:
There will be a $7.00 fee per entry if the artist is a participating
vendor in the Fairplay Bead Swap Show. If you are not participating in the show,
entry fees are $12.00 per entry. Each artist is limited to three entries per category.
Dead Line:
Hand delivered entries must be delivered to South Park Pottery
at 417 Front St. in Fairplay by 10am Sat. Aug 1 1th. Entry fees must
accompany all entries. If you will not be able to attend the event, you are welcome
to enter the competition by submitting three to five photographs of each piece to be
entered. Please do not send the actual work unless requested. Deadline for mailed entries
is August 1st, 2008. If you wish to have your photographs returned, please
include a self addressed stamped envelope. Please mail entries to:

Judging:
Judging will be completed by noon on Saturday August
9th, 2008 and prizes will be awarded at that time. Winning entries will be displayed with
their ribbons in front of South Park Pottery & Back Room Beads until 4pm Sunday.
We ask that you pick up your entries between 4pm and 5pm on Sunday and not sell any
of the winning entries until that time.
Rules:
All entries must have been completed with in the past year. Entries will
be judged on design, execution, and overall appeal. All decisions by the judging committee
will be final. Show staff artists are not eligible to enter. All entries must have an unlined
file card securely attached to the entry with your name, address, phone number, category,
title, price, if for sale, e-mail address if available, and booth number if participating
in the show.

- 2nd place $50
- 3rd place $25 gift certificate at South Park Pottery & Back Room Beads
